Prior to BigCommerce, Jeff served as General Counsel for the Alibaba Group’s multiple US subsidiaries and held senior legal positions with its fintech affiliate, Alipay. Before transitioning in-house, Jeff practiced law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Jeff holds an A.B. in economics, with honors, from Harvard University and a J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law, where he was a member of the California Law Review. He currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and children.
