He has received numerous awards recognizing his contributions in the field of electrical engineering. Dr. Fettweis has authored or co-authored two books and is listed as an inventor on over thirty issued patents. Dr. Fettweis received his Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering in 1986 and his PhD in Electrical Engineering in 1990, each from Aachen University of Technology.
