Meghan Tuohig is the Chief People Officer for Overstock, where she is responsible for attracting, developing, engaging, retaining, and caring for the people driving the business. She leads the company's recruiting, human resources, compensation & benefits, training, and communications efforts. Meghan joined Overstock in March 2004, and has served in several leadership positions, most recently as the company's Vice President of People Care.
In 2017, Meghan founded the Overstock Women's Network (OWN) to provide all Overstock employees with opportunities for education, training, mentorship, scholarship, and other programs designed to inspire, support, and celebrate the success of females in the professional community. Meghan spearheaded the development of the company's formal mentorship program, the expansion of paid parental leave, the introduction of 9/80 flexible schedules, the creation of the forward-thinking caregiver travel policy, and the company's support of the ParityPledge initiative. She also oversaw the design of Overstock's Midvale, Utah global headquarters, Peace Coliseum, which opened in the fall of 2016.
Meghan has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah, received her Master of Business Administration from Westminster College, and studied interior design and architecture at New York University.
