J. Palmer Clarkson joined the CNX Board in May 2017. He is the founder and, from 1992 until his retirement in 2022, served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgestone HosePower, LLC, previously Hosepower, the largest U.S. based service provider of hydraulic and industrial hoses used in construction machinery, mining, oil field equipment and factories. Mr. Clarkson currently serves as Chairman of the ESCR Committee and as a member of the Compensation Committee and NCG Committee. Mr. Clarkson is a former board member of Bridgestone HosePower, LLC and Bridgestone Industrial Products Group – Japan and currently sits on the Board of Directors of Enerpac Tool Group Corp. (NYSE: EPAC), the Jacksonville Port Authority (JaxPort) and The Lake Doctors, Inc. (of which he is the Chairman). Mr. Clarkson previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Anchor Coupling Company from 1987 to 1992. He also sits on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. Mr. Clarkson brings to our Board over 32 years of hands-on experience as an entrepreneur, business builder and manager. He has extensive in accounting, finance and operations, with a proven leadership track record.

The company owns rights to extract natural gas from shale properties in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio, as well as rights to extract natural gas from other shale and shallow oil and gas formations in Illinois, Indiana, New York, and Virginia. It also owns rights to extract CBM in Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and New Mexico. In addition, the company designs, builds, and operates natural gas gathering systems to move gas from the wellhead to interstate pipelines or other local sales points; owns and operates approximately 2,600 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines, as well as various natural gas processing facilities. It also offers turn-key solutions for water sourcing, delivery, and disposal for its natural gas operations and for third parties. The company was formerly known as CONSOL Energy Inc. and changed its name to CNX Resources Corporation in November 2017. CNX Resources Corporation was founded in 1860 and is headquartered in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
