Dennis Maier Biography and Net Worth

Dennis Maier joined CryoLife in July 2017 as Vice President of Kennesaw Operations. Dennis has more than 15 years in the medical device industry. Prior to joining CryoLife, he served as the Senior Director of Baxter Healthcare’s direct material global purchasing and supplier management team. He also served as Vice President of Global Sourcing for Hill-Rom, where he led several cost savings initiatives and helped integrate several acquisitions. Prior to that, he spent five years with Medtronic leading several Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management (CRDM) manufacturing operations, as well as serving as Director of CRDM Global Commodity management. Dennis also spent eight years with Abbott Vascular and Boston Scientific (both former Guidant Corporation businesses) in a variety of manufacturing, sourcing, and quality control roles which included managing the Xience V catheter manufacturing operation in Temecula, CA, the Coronary Implants operation in Clonmel, Ireland, and Boston Scientific’s Contract manufacturing group in St. Paul, MN. Prior to entering the medical device industry, Dennis worked briefly for Ford Motor Company and served six years as an officer in the U.S Army. He received an MBA from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
