Dylan manages a portfolio of diversified public and private investments at Arden Road, a New York City based family office. The holdings include a captive Deep Tech Venture Capital fund that he manages directly, with private investments including SpaceX, Impulse Space, Niantic, Digilens, Prorata.ai, Energy Vault (NRGV), and ShotSpotter (SSTI). Dylan also serves as Chairman of Hixon Properties Inc., a privately held real estate development company operating in San Antonio, Dallas, and Austin. Hixon Properties opportunistically develops and acquires real estate in multiple product types, with $500 million in assets. Previously, Dylan worked for many years as an engineer in a variety of areas. He is the author of several technical papers and four patents. Dylan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University, and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. He is a Trustee of Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California, a member of the advisory boards of the Yale School of Engineering and Applied Science and Yale School of the Environment, and the Board of the Regional Plan Association (RPA) of New York, the oldest independent regional planning organization in the US. Dylan lives in New York City with his wife and two sons.
