John M. Moreira is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Eversource Energy, New England’s largest energy company. Prior to joining Eversource, John was employed as Acting Controller at Eastern Utilities Associates (EUA). At EUA John oversaw all accounting and tax matters and was a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team.
John is a member of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) CFO Committee and a former member of the EEI/Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Liaison Committee and Accounting Standard Committee. He is a board member of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s Foundation Board.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Curry College. John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Rhode Island.
