Prior to joining Lumentum in February 2025, he served as president and chief executive officer and as a director of Synaptics Incorporated, a global leader in IoT semiconductor solutions and human interface solutions combining IoT and AI. Before joining Synaptics in 2019, Mr. Hurlston was chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Finisar Corporation, a leader in optical communications. He also served as executive vice president, worldwide sales and in a variety of management roles over the course of his nearly 20-year career with Broadcom Limited, a leading developer and supplier of a broad range of semiconductor solutions.
