He was promoted to Deputy General Counsel, Managing Counsel & Assistant Secretary in October 2022. Prior to joining Insperity in 2014, Christian was counsel in the corporate practice of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He also previously held an executive position at a privately-held technology company. Christian began his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable John Minor Wisdom of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School, where he was senior managing editor of the Tulane Law Review and a member of The Order of the Coif. Christian is also an active supporter of pro bono legal efforts and serves as a member of the coordinating committee for The Houston Pro Bono Joint Initiative.
