As Chief Commercial Officer, Jim Poppens oversees global sales and services, as well as all customer support functions. With his expertise, he is working to globalize and unite the commercial side of the business. Jim assumed this role in January 2023.
In his previous role as President, Interface Americas, Jim was responsible for leading the strategy for the Americas business, overseeing operational and functional teams, including supply chain and production, finance, customer service, sales and marketing.
Joining interface in 2017, Jim led the restructuring of our FLOR business and most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Marketing and was responsible for the global Interface brand, digital strategy, global product commercialization planning and leading the FLOR business.
Jim has more than 30 years of experience in marketing, sales and general management across a variety of industries including leadership roles at Newell Rubbermaid, Kellogg Company, REI, and Coca-Cola.
Jim received a master’s degree from Harvard Business School and bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. He currently resides with his family in Atlanta.
