Mr. Blitzer serves as the Director of the Board of Directors of Intuitive Machines. Mr. Blitzer has been the co-Chief Executive Officer of Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. since February 2021 and a Director since January 2021.
As CEO of Inflection Point, Mr. Blitzer has targeted key areas of investment within the national security and defense sectors. In 2024, Inflection Point announced its acquisition of USA Rare Earth (NASDAQ: USAR), which is building a vertically integrated rare earth magnet supply chain in North America. USA Rare Earth is positioning itself as the first ex-China producer of rare earth magnets, ensuring a reliable supply of critical resources for the domestic technology, electric vehicle, and national defense markets. Mr. Blitzer will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of USA Rare Earth.
Prior to founding Inflection Point in 2021, Mr. Blitzer founded Kingstown Capital in 2006, an SEC registered investment advisor, and grew it to a multi-billion dollar asset manager with some of the world’s largest endowments and foundations as clients. Mr. Blitzer oversaw all of the firm's investing activities including significant investments across the technology, aerospace, and industrial/manufacturing industries.
Mr. Blitzer began his Wall Street career at J.P. Morgan Securities in 1999, advising companies globally in private debt and equity capital raises. He holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, where he received the Cornell Tradition Fellowship and an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was on the Executive Advisory Board of the Heilbrunn Center for Graham & Dodd Investing. He has also taught courses at Columbia Business School in Security Analysis and Investing as an Adjunct Professor from 2008-2013. Mr. Blitzer is a Trustee of Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT where he is also the Treasurer and Chair of the Investment Committee.
