Kathryn Chou Biography and Net Worth

Ms. Chou has served as a member of IonQ’s board of directors since July 2022. Ms. Chou is Senior Vice President of SaaS Engineering at Nutanix responsible for secure and scalable SaaS applications, systems and data assets across the entire customer lifecycle as core to Nutanix's multi-cloud subscription strategy. She most recently served as SVP, WW Sales Strategy and Operations and VP, R&D Operations and Central Services at VMware and has previously served in Sales Strategy and Operations roles at Informatica, Intuit and Hewlett-Packard (HP). In 2009, she led the HP team who won the Franz Edelman award for outstanding achievement in applied operations research.

Kathy serves as Vice Chair of the Stanford International Research Institute in Social Sciences (iRiSS), Board of Regents and Engineering Advisory Board, Santa Clara University and is an advisory board member for SkyGeni focused on sales rep intelligence using ML/AI. Kathy served on the Stanford Presidential Search Committee, Chair of the Stanford Alumni Committee on Trustee Nominations, and is development chair for the Asian Pacific Fund. The Silicon Valley Business Journal selected her as one of the Top 100 most influential women in 2011, was awarded the distinguished 2013 Stanford Medal, received the 2020 YWCA Women Leadership Award and the 2021 Most Powerful and Influential Women Award. A values-driven leader, Kathy is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and has been an engaged mentor and coach.

Kathy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in manufacturing systems engineering and BS in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
