Prior to joining L3Harris, he was President, Advanced Structures for Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies business. There, he led a diversified, multibillion-dollar global operation of approximately 15,000 employees, overseeing next-generation flight and aviation components supporting both commercial and military customers.
Before Raytheon Technologies, Mehta spent more than 17 years at Sikorsky Aircraft in leadership roles of increasing responsibility across general management, business development, and operations. Most notably, he served as President, Defense Systems & Services, where he led a $4 billion business with more than 5,000 employees, overseeing Sikorsky’s military products and services from technology development through delivery and long-term sustainment for U.S. government and international customers.
Earlier in his career, Mehta spent five years with Otis Elevator, ultimately serving as Associate General Counsel. In that role, he negotiated legal terms and conditions for customer, supplier, and distribution agreements supporting a complex $1 billion aftermarket organization.
Mehta holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Connecticut, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College.
