Mr. Colella has served as Chair of the Board of Directors of MKS Inc. since May 2020. He served as MKS’ Chief Executive Officer from January 2014 until his retirement in January 2020. Mr. Colella held a number of senior management roles at MKS, including President, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President and Chief Business Officer. Mr. Colella joined MKS in 1983 and progressed from materials planning and logistics to leading the global business and service operations before assuming his senior management roles. Mr. Colella is also the Chair of the Board of Directors of Columbus McKinnon Corporation, where he has served as a director since November 2021.

He holds a B.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Massachusetts, an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
