Peter D'Arcy is Head of Commercial Banking for M&T Bank and is responsible for directing strategic growth and business line development activities across M&T’s footprint for Commercial Banking clients.

Peter joined M&T Bank in 1995 and previously served as an area executive, was co-head of the bank’s Senior Loan Committee, and supervised the bank’s Commercial Real Estate Segment, Capital Markets, and Corporate and Institutional Banking divisions.

Peter is a trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission of New York (CBC) and serves on the board of the Regional Plan Association. He is also a member of the Real Estate Roundtable and Real Estate and Construction Council for Lincoln Center.

Peter resides in Larchmont, NY, with his wife and three daughters. He was born and raised in New York City, where he attended Loyola High School. Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Vassar College.
