David Nasca Biography and Net Worth

David J. Nasca was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Evans Bancorp, Inc. (“Evans”) until the company merged with NBT on May 2, 2025. He became a director of NBT and NBT Bank on May 20, 2025. He served as Director and President of Evans and Evans Bank, N.A. (“Evans Bank”) from 2006 to 2025 and as Chief Executive Officer of Evans and Evans Bank from 2007 to 2025. Prior to joining Evans, he served as Chief Operating Officer of LifeStage, LLC, a health care services startup company, from October 2005 to August 2006. David’s banking career spanned 42 years, including 11 with First Niagara Financial Group (“First Niagara”) where held executive roles with increasing responsibility. He ultimately served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at First Niagara where he was integrally involved in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and led the enterprise-wide risk management program. David’s experience also includes executive positions with Chemical Bank, Goldome FSB, and Goldome Realty Corp. He earned his MBA in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a BS in Management/Marketing from Canisius College.

David is a member of the Board of Directors and Vice-Chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York. Additionally, he is the Director and Chairman of Brothers of Mercy Holding Inc. and its affiliated companies, which comprise a Continuing Care Community offering senior housing, assisted living, and nursing and rehabilitation services. He is also a director of Launch NY, a venture opportunity fund that provides seed capital to startups and is a member of the Patrick P. Lee Foundation Investment Committee. David further serves on the Univera Healthcare Regional Advisory Board and the Board of the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation. He is also a member of the Canisius University Richard J. Wehle School of Business Advisory Board.
