Bruce is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he leads the Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Risk functions. His deep industry knowledge and experience at NRG provide a strong foundation as the company continues to diversify its earning streams. Additionally, Bruce oversees NRG’s Strategy, M&A, and Enterprise Innovation functions.

Before rejoining NRG in 2016, Bruce served as a Managing Director at Energy Impact Partners, a private equity firm focused on energy technology investments. In his first stint at the company, Bruce served in a number of different capacities focused on large-scale projects and new business development. Prior to NRG, Bruce served as a director in the investment banking division of Citigroup and its predecessor firms, providing capital markets advisory and M&A services to several regulated and unregulated power companies.
