I took over the position of President, South and South East Asia in January 2018. I’m currently responsible for the Region’s P&L and the full spectrum of PMI’s operations in more than 14 markets including India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand, and for over 32,000 permanent employees in the region.
I joined Philip Morris USA in 1995, and by 2002 was named Director of Trade Marketing for Philip Morris International, based at the company’s Operating Center in Lausanne, Switzerland. In March 2006, I was promoted to Vice President, Southeast Region Sales for Philip Morris USA where I served on the company’s leadership team. I moved to Lausanne, Switzerland in January 2011 toward holding the role of Vice President, Sales Strategy for PMI. In this global role, I spearheaded the strategic direction for a new consumer-centric commercial model, before heading into General Management of 10 countries in Southeast Europe. Immediately prior to my current position, I was Managing Director of Philip Morris Germany, Austria, Croatia and Slovenia.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in sociology and cultural anthropology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in the United States, and an Executive MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. I live in Hong Kong with my husband and pre-teen twins.
