Michael Metcalf joined the Company in November 2018 serving as Executive Vice President and subsequently became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in December 2018. Mr. Metcalf has over 30 years of international finance experience across the power generation and construction, aviation and oil and gas industries.
 
Prior to joining Powell, Mr. Metcalf started his career at Dresser-Rand, a Siemens Business in 1991, where he held numerous financial roles. Thereafter, he joined General Electric Company in 1998 serving in roles of increasing responsibility in project finance, FP&A, commercial finance, and supply chain. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Aeroderivative Products with General Electric Company and prior to that, Chief Financial Officer of Artificial Lift Systems at Baker Hughes, a GE Company.

Michael holds a BS in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and an MBA from Syracuse University.
