Phillip Gobe began serving as Chairman of our board in July of 2019 and Executive Chairman of ProPetro in October 2019. Mr. Gobe previously served on the Board of Directors at Pantheon Resources and Pioneer Natural Resources, prior to their acquisition by ExxonMobil. From 2004 to his retirement in 2007, Mr. Gobe acted as Chief Operating Officer, then President, for Energy Partners, Ltd. Prior to that, Mr. Gobe served three years as Chief Operating Officer of Nuevo Energy Company as well as numerous operations and human resources positions with Vastar Resources, Inc. and Atlantic Richfield Company (“ARCO”). Mr. Gobe received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.
