SQN Secured Income Fund plc, formerly The SME Loan Fund PLC, is an investment company. The investment objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with attractive risk adjusted returns through investment, predominantly in a range of secured loans and other secured loan-based instruments originated through a variety of channels and diversified by way of asset class, geography and duration. It invests in a range of secured loan assets mainly through wholesale secured lending opportunities, secured trade and receivable finance and other collateralized lending opportunities. Loan assets include both direct loans as well as other instruments with loan-based investment characteristics, such as bonds, loan participations, syndicated loans, structured notes and collateralized obligations, and also include other types of investment, including equity or revenue- or profit linked instruments.
