Ann Schmidt is senior vice president and chief communications and brand officer for The Boeing Company. She was appointed to this position in December 2024 and serves on the company’s Executive Council. Schmidt oversees all aspects of Boeing’s communications, including commercial airplanes, defense and services businesses, media relations, external affairs, employee communications and company branding.

A multi-disciplined global executive, Schmidt has more than two decades of experience leading strategic communications, business operations, employee engagement, executive communications and crisis management.

Schmidt holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and earned a bachelor’s degree from Mary Baldwin University.
