Julie Iskow is the president and chief operating officer of Workiva Inc. She is responsible for Workiva’s global growth strategy and commercial operations, including enterprise-wide product development, platform innovation, sales, marketing, service delivery, and customer success. She also owns execution of key enterprise initiatives focused on innovation, growth and customer experience.
Julie joined Workiva in 2019 as EVP and COO. She has extensive experience in product development, optimizing operations, and scaling enterprise SaaS companies with strong, profitable growth. Before joining Workiva, Julie served as EVP and CTO at Medidata Solutions, a leading technology and data platform for life sciences. She was responsible for developing and executing the product and technology strategy, and leading the teams that designed, delivered and supported the company’s enterprise platform and cloud-based solutions, data analytics, and AI capabilities.
Prior to Medidata, she was the senior vice president of product development and CIO at WageWorks. During her tenure, Julie was part of the leadership team that helped bring WageWorks through a successful IPO. Before Wageworks, she spent over a decade in engineering and technology leadership positions, responsible for automation and robotics software used in high-tech manufacturing.
Julie currently serves on the board of directors of Workiva Inc. (NYSE:WK) and Vocera Communications (NYSE:VCRA). Julie was named among InformationWeek’s Elite 100. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s from the University of California, Davis.
