Roger W. Crandall is the chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). Crandall joined MassMutual in 1988, serving as the chief investment officer from 2005–2008, adding the role of co-chief operating officer in 2007. He was named president and joined the company's Board of Directors in 2008, and became chief executive officer in 2010.

He served on the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's Board of Directors from 2019–2025, serving as its chair in 2025, and as deputy chair from 2023–2024.

Crandall is a member of the Business Roundtable, the Board of Directors for the American Council of Life Insurers, the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership, the Board of Governors for the Boston College Chief Executives Club, the Board of Trustees for The Jackson Laboratory, the Wharton Leadership Advisory Board, and the University of Vermont Foundation Leadership Council.
