EVP of Air Lease

David Beker, Executive Vice President, leads our Aircraft Sales & Trading Group, serves on the Board of Directors of two of our Joint Venture vehicles, Blackbird Capital I and II, while also managing several airline relationships in North America, Europe & the CIS in our Marketing Department. Mr. Beker started his career in the aircraft leasing industry at ILFC where he held various positions in the Legal and Marketing departments. While in ILFC’s Marketing Department, Mr. Beker managed a portfolio of more than 100 aircraft on lease to various airlines in Eastern Europe & the CIS. After AerCap acquired ILFC, Mr. Beker joined AerCap’s Marketing department specifically focusing on AerCap’s North American airline relationships. In 2016, Mr. Beker left AerCap to join Plane View Partners as one of the partners where he split his practice between (1) advising equity investors on acquiring aircraft portfolios and E-notes in ABS structures and (2) advising Bombardier Commercial Aircraft on key strategic sales campaigns for its C Series aircraft (now known as Airbus A220) including the groundbreaking sales to Delta Airlines and JetBlue Airways. Mr. Beker received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
