Earlier in his career, Neil was Head of Business Development at Cadence Pharmaceuticals, where he assisted with the sale of the company for $1.3B. Neil also co founded and helped build two San Diego-based biotech companies, Mpex Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Aptalis) and Vaxiion.
Neil holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego, as well as an M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and an M.B.A. from San Diego State University.
