During his tenure, he guided the organization through meaningful cultural, operational and strategic transformation, which led Crawford to four consecutive years of record performance.
Prior to Crawford, Rohit held senior leadership roles at Zurich North America, where he served as Regional Executive for the South Region and held multiple executive positions across underwriting, distribution, finance, strategy, and general management. Earlier in his career, Rohit was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he led global strategy and transformation engagements for leading insurance and financial services organizations.
Rohit’s career has spanned Europe, Asia, and North America, and he has led diverse global teams across industries. He also worked as a research engineer and holds five patents, along with authorship of several internet standards.
Rohit holds an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from the University of Delhi and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. He also completed executive leadership programs at Cambridge University and London Business School.
He has been recognized as one of Insurance Business’s Global Top 100 leaders in 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2025, and was named a Top 5 Insurance Executive Under 40 by National Underwriters magazine. In 2023, he received the Georgia Titan 100 award. Rohit also serves on the board of Ameritas Holding Company and is a member of industry advisory boards for Northwestern University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
