Klaus Schauser has served as a member of the AppFolio Board of Directors since 2007. Klaus co-founded AppFolio and previously served as our Chief Strategist. Klaus was a co-founder and, from 1999 to 2005, the Chief Technology Officer of ExpertCity, Inc., which was acquired by Citrix Online and later merged into GoTo. He has also served as a Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
