While at the car manufacturer, Maestri held several senior management positions in the global markets of Ireland, Italy, Singapore, Brazil and Thailand. He was part of the team that established GM’s Asian Pacific operations, and he later became CFO for all of the company’s operations in Europe—spanning over 45 countries and totaling an annual revenue of approximately $40 billion. From 2000 to 2005, he served as the general manager in charge of the Fiat Alliance where he was responsible for the multi-billion Euro activities with Fiat.
Maestri earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Luiss University in Rome, and received his master’s in science management from Boston University.
