Previously, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Palm, Inc., a provider of handheld computing and communications solutions, from 1999 until 2004. Prior to Palm, Inc., Ms. Bruner held financial management positions at 3Com Corporation, Ridge Computers and Hewlett-Packard Company. She currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of Qorvo, Inc. and Rapid7, Inc.

Ms. Bruner previously served as a member of the boards of directors of Seagate Technology plc. from 2018 to October 2025, and Varian Medical Systems, Inc. from 2016 until its acquisition in April 2021.
