Jayshree Ullal is the president and CEO of Arista Networks, a computer networking company.
When Ullal joined Arista in 2008, the company had no revenue and employed fewer than 50 people. Under her leadership, it now boasts a team of over 2,000 with a multi-billion dollar revenue line.
Arista designs and sells multilayer network switches to deliver software-defined networking solutions. Ullal also guided the company through its landmark IPO in 2014.
Before Arista, Ullal spent over 15 years at Cisco, including a stint as a senior vice president where she oversaw a $15 billion business handling the company’s modular Nexus, data center switching and virtualization services.

Ullal grew Cisco’s Catalyst switching business to $5 billion in business within seven years. Then, after moving into Cisco’s enterprise sector, she directed over 20 mergers and acquisitions in IP telephony, networking, and communications.
Earlier in her career, Ullal held engineering and strategy roles at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Fairchild Semiconductor, in addition to serving as director of inter-networking products at Ungermann-Bass before joining Crescendo Communications.
Ullal was born in London, raised in New Delhi, and is now one of the wealthiest female executives in America.

She currently serves on the boards of Arista and Snowflake Inc., and she previously served on ZScaler’s board of directors between 2008 and 2010.
