Norm Bagwell is the chief executive officer for Bank of Texas. He also serves as executive vice president of BOK Financial Corporation and is responsible for all Regional Banks, Commercial Banking, and Business Banking across the company’s eight-state footprint. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor’s in Business Administration degrees from Southern Methodist University where he is a distinguished alumnus from the Cox School of Business.


From 1998 to 2007, Bagwell served as the Dallas president of JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor, Bank One Dallas. In this role, he served as the senior executive in the market and was responsible for commercial banking activities in the Dallas region.


Bagwell currently serves on the board of directors for Bank of Texas, Dallas Regional Chamber, Baylor Health Care System Foundation, Cox School of Business, State Fair of Texas and Junior League of Dallas. He is also chairman of the CEO Council of the Dallas Arboretum and is past chairman of the Dallas Regional Chamber. He is a member of the Salesmanship Club, Maverick Chapter WPO, Dallas Assembly and Dallas Citizens Council. He also serves on the board of directors for Panola Company, LTD and is a Managing Partner of Mound Place, LLC.


Bagwell was awarded the Chairman’s Leadership Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2001. In 2005, he received the Distinguished Alumni award from Southern Methodist University and Cox School of Business, as well as the Torch of Conscience award from the American Jewish Congress. In 2013, Bagwell and his wife Robin, received the Margaret Sharpe Award for Community Service.
