Michael Huffaker Biography and Net Worth

Michael Huffaker joined CarParts.com in December 2022 as Chief Operating Officer and brings nearly two decades of unparalleled e-commerce and brick-and-mortar expertise in retail technology, having worked with some of the most well-known retailers. As COO, Huffaker is responsible for ensuring customers receive a world-class experience, from the moment they place an order to the time it arrives on their doorstep.  

Prior to joining CarParts.com, Huffaker served as Vice President, Category Leader for Amazon Fresh Grocery. During his tenure at Amazon, Huffaker scaled the overall Grocery delivery business 50 times, launched Amazon’s first Grocery Distribution Center and dozens of new fulfillment centers, and successfully led the transition of AmazonFresh and Prime Now’s businesses to Ultra-Fast grocery delivery. As a result of his efforts, AmazonFresh received the highest Net Promoter Scores (NPS) on record and helped Amazon achieve the #1 grocery retailer in the dunnhumby Retailer Preference Index (RPI) for two consecutive years. Huffaker has a strong history of step-change performance improvement in the businesses he’s managed, with a strong emphasis on vendor and product management, building and scaling supply chains, and building large, diverse teams. 

Michael began his buying career in 2003 at Wal-Mart Stores and thereafter held additional buying roles with Sam’s Club and Circuit City. He received both his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Arkansas.
