Martin Jarrett began his career in Constellium in 2011 as technology and innovation director for Constellium’s Automotive Structures and Industry business unit, founding the Constellium University Technology Centre in partnership with Brunel University London in 2015.  Mr. Jarrett has an extensive background in aluminum products across a wide range of sectors including aerospace and automotive, having worked for Alcan, British Aluminium, Alcoa, Sapa and Constellium in a number of global technical roles in both R&D and operational excellence over a nearly forty-year career in the industry. 

 Mr. Jarrett is a UK citizen and holds a master’s degree in metallurgy from the University of Coventry. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (FIMMM) and a professor of metallurgy at Brunel University London.

The Automotive Structures & Industry segment offers extruded aluminium products and aluminium structural components for the automotive industry, including crash-management systems, body structures, side impact beams, and battery enclosures; and fabricates hard and soft alloy extruded profiles for various industry applications in the automotive, engineering, rail, and other transportation end markets. This segment also provides downstream technology and services, which include pre-machining, surface treatment, research and development, and technical support services. It sells its products directly or through distributors in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the United States, as well as Shanghai, and Seoul. The company was incorporated in 2010 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
