Kathleen Abernathy joined the Board in December 2023 effective with the merger of EchoStar and DISH Network Corporation and is a member of our Nominating and Governance Committee and Chair of our Compensation Committee. Prior to the merger between EchoStar and DISH Network Corporation, Ms. Abernathy served as a member of DISH Network Corporation’s Board of Directors and Audit and Compensation committees and as Chair of its Nominating Committee from March 2019 to December 2023. Ms. Abernathy currently serves on the Board of Directors of various private and non-profit companies and organizations. Ms. Abernathy served as Executive Vice President, External Affairs for Frontier Communications Inc. It serves customers in North America, South and Central America, Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, India, and the Middle East. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado.
