Matthew Ramsey was appointed as a director of Energy Transfer LP (ET) in July 2012 and as a director of Energy Transfer Operating, L.P. (ETO) in November 2015. Mr. Ramsey was named President and Chief Operating Officer of ETO in November 2015, and Chief Operating Officer of ET in October 2018. He has served as chairman of Sunoco LP’s board since April 2015, and as a director of USA Compression Partners, LP since April 2018.

Mr. Ramsey previously served as President of RPM Exploration, Ltd. He previously served as a director of RSP Permian, Inc. where he served as chairman of the compensation committee and as a member of the audit committee. Mr. Ramsey formerly served as President of DDD Energy, Inc. until its sale in 2002. From 1996 to 2000, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OEC Compression Corporation, Inc. Previously, Mr. Ramsey served as Vice President of Nuevo Energy Company, an independent energy company. The company was formerly known as Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. and changed its name to Energy Transfer LP in October 2018.
