As a director, Ned Williams brings sales leadership, distribution knowledge, international sourcing, manufacturing, and entrepreneurial expertise to the company. Elected to the Board of Directors in 2004, Ned's association with the company began years before through his father, Keith Williams, who served on Escalade’s board from 1982 to 2006. The Williams family has had a long management and ownership history with Escalade, dating back to the founding of the Williams Manufacturing Company in 1922.

Ned is the Founder and President of Ballast Tools Equipment a manufacturer of high-rail construction equipment and advanced wear parts used for railway track maintenance. He is also the President of Ever Extruder, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of technically advanced, high-production pet-food and aqua-feed processing equipment. For many years, he has also been Vice President of Good Earth Tools, a business specializing in tungsten carbide technology for heavy industrial machinery. Ned has founded and worked with family businesses, focusing on strategy, sales, engineering, and product development throughout his career, including being involved with a number of interesting US patents.

Ned graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration.

Ned and his wife, Connie, support local charities that focus on young children’s heath, wellbeing, and education. They have three grown sons and enjoy family time together.
Ned is a long-time member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and one of the original members of the St. Louis chapter.
With a love for sports, Ned enjoys the wide variety of Escalade’s products, and is passionate about Archery, Basketball, Pickleball, and the many great backyard games in the company’s portfolio. He has been an avid bow hunter for over forty years and has used Indian Archery and Bear Archery gear exclusively for his hunting adventures!
