Preceding that role, he held the position of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Celanese Corp., a Dallas-based chemicals and engineered materials manufacturer. Before Celanese, Ben held a variety of positions within the Honeywell Aerospace division. He gained more responsibility in each role, and ultimately culminated as its Vice President and General Counsel of Global Operations. 

Ben began his legal career over 20 years ago, and has served in a variety of in-house legal roles in the aerospace, chemical, and materials automation industries. Over his career, he has developed a strong general legal background, with extensive experience in commercial contracts, anti-corruption, and competition law compliance, intellectual property, corporate governance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a Six Sigma black belt and is a strong believer in continuous process improvement within the legal industry.

A Denver native, Ben earned his B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Yale College and his law degree from Harvard Law School. He is based at the corporate headquarters of Expeditors in Seattle, Washington, and enjoys skiing, diving, and math.
