Earlier in his career Ed was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston, where he served as a senior investment banker and BT Alex Brown, where he was co-head of Equity Capital Markets.

Ed Garden currently serves on the Board of Directors of General Electric and The Middleby Corporation. His previous Board experience includes Bank of New York Mellon, Family Dollar Stores, Invesco, Janus Henderson Group, Legg Mason, Pentair, and The Wendy’s Company.
