Joshua Maxfield joined Garmin in 2006 as Corporate Counsel and has held positions with increasing responsibilities during his time with Garmin, including expatriate assignments in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland. Maxfield’s experience at Garmin includes international corporate law, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, data privacy and cybersecurity, and corporate governance. In June 2024, Maxfield was appointed vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary of Garmin Ltd. and was appointed to the role of secretary in August 2025.
