Gene Foca Biography and Net Worth

As Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, Gene Foca sits on the company’s executive team and is responsible for global performance marketing, brand & communications, customer data science, sales, sales enablement, customer success and customer care. He jointly oversees the e‑commerce group with Grant Farhall, Chief Product Officer.

He has a wealth of experience across e‑commerce, product and digital marketing, bringing over 20 years of experience as a strategic and data‑driven marketing leader and general manager, launching and growing some of the world’s biggest content and e‑commerce businesses.

Gene joined Getty Images in early 2017 from Fresh Direct, where he was briefly responsible for the grocer’s customer marketing and oversaw marketing plans for the launch of Foodkick into Manhattan. Prior to that, he was based in Jersey City as Senior Director of Marketing at Amazon where he operated as the Quidsi subsidiary’s chief performance marketing professional, overseeing new customer growth and retention, while helping to lead Quidsi to its most profitable year ever, as they transitioned the business, vendors, and inventory to be fully integrated into Amazon. Gene also headed up business development and marketing for the Kindle North American Newsstand at Amazon in Seattle, leading the launch of Subscribe with Amazon, a payments product feature.

Prior to that he was at News Corporation as Senior Vice President of Marketing for News Digital, where he worked on the creation of new content apps and contributed to the launch of The Daily, the first mobile daily news product of its kind. For almost two decades, he had been in marketing leadership roles with Time Incorporated and Time Warner, across brands such as Time, Fortune and Sports Illustrated.
