Gerke currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNSL) and MGP Ingredients, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGPI). In addition, he previously served as a member of the board of directors at CenturyLink (now Lumen: NYSE: LUMN), Embarq (formerly NYSE: EQ), and TEGP Management, LLC, the general partner of Tallgrass Energy GP, LP (NYSE: TEGP). He serves or has served on several local boards, including Rockhurst University and the Kansas City Local Investment Commission.
Gerke holds an MBA from Rockhurst University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.
