Deirdre Evens leads Iron Mountain’s Records and Information Management business for North America and is responsible for long-term strategy, resource deployment, and service delivery supporting customers’ needs for document and information storage, secure destruction, offsite tape vaulting, imaging and business process workflow. Deirdre joined Iron Mountain in 2015 as Chief People Officer. She also served as the company’s Chief of Operations, responsible for the company’s global human resources, risk management, marketing, and continuous improvement functions. Deirdre came to Iron Mountain from environmental, energy, and industrial services company Clean Harbors, where she served as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, and as the company's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to Clean Harbors, she was Senior Vice President of Member Insight for BJ's Wholesale Club, a $3+ Billion U.S. based retailer. She also spent 19 years at Polaroid Corporation, with senior roles in manufacturing, operations, sales, marketing, corporate strategy, and general management, including P&L leadership for Polaroid’s global imaging division. Deirdre serves on the Board of Directors for Regency Centers, a national owner, operator and developer of commercial shopping centers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
