Matthew Orlando Biography and Net Worth

Matt Orlando is the General Counsel for Kenvue. In this role, Matt leads the Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Global Security and Brand Protection organizations.

Matt previously served as Corporate Secretary and Worldwide Vice President, Corporate Governance, for Johnson & Johnson, acting as a liaison to the Johnson & Johnson Board of Directors and the investment community. Partnering closely with Investor Relations as well as business and functional leadership, Matt’s responsibilities included continuing to strengthen the Company’s corporate governance practices to help drive long-term value creation and business integrity; managing a broad and robust continuum of disclosure, including the Company’s Proxy Statement and Health for Humanity Report; helping lead and launch the Company’s newly-articulated Environmental, Social and Governance strategy; and leading the Annual Shareholders Meeting and other year-round investor engagement activities.

With legal experience across Australia, Europe and the United States, Matt brings a deep understanding of the complex and rapidly-evolving global environment and an established record of leading high-performing global teams. During his more than 15 years with Johnson & Johnson, Matt held a variety of legal leadership roles, including General Counsel, Global Consumer Medical Devices, where he served on the Global Vision Leadership team; Vice President, Law for the Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group and member of the CSS Global Management Board; and regional lawyer for a number of medical device businesses.

Throughout his career, Matt has been recognized as a values-driven leader and business partner who is committed to the success of the businesses and colleagues he has served. Passionate about developing high performing talent, Matt has contributed to many talent development initiatives and sponsored several leadership and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across the organization. He currently serves as the executive sponsor for the South Asian Professional Network Association (SAPNA) ERG.

Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Matt worked for the pharmaceutical company UCB in Brussels as well as law firms in Australia. Matt obtained his law degree as well as his finance degree from Murdoch University in Australia and is admitted to practice law in the United States and Australia.
