Harry A. Kemp is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Lear Corporation, a position he has held since January 2023. In this position, he is responsible for Lear’s Legal, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Ethics and Compliance and Sustainability activities. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since August 2019. Mr. Kemp previously served as Vice President and Corporate Counsel from 2018 to 2019. Previously he served as Vice President and Divisional Counsel for Lear’s Seating Division from 2016 to 2018 and Vice President and Divisional Counsel for E-Systems Division from 2009 to 2016.

Prior to joining Lear, Mr. Kemp was a partner at the Detroit law firm of Bodman PLC, where he specialized in commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Kemp came to Bodman from the global management consulting firm of McKinsey and Company where he served as an engagement manager on a variety of strategic projects.

Mr. Kemp graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree concentrating in accounting and finance. He earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2000.
