Scott DeBoer, Ph.D. is the executive vice president for technology and products at Micron Technology, a producer of computer memory and computer data storage. In his role, he leads global technology development and engineering efforts.

Dr. DeBoer started his career with Micron in 1995 as a process development engineer, and he went on to serve in various technical and management roles before being appointed VP of process research and development in 2007. He was promoted in 2017 to EVP of technology development, and he assumed his current role in 2019.
He sits on the governing council of the JUMP/nCORE research initiative (part of Semiconductor Research Corporation), and he also serves on the boards of directors for Hastings College, EUV LLC, and Micron Semiconductor Italia S.r.l.
Dr. DeBoer earned his B.S. in physics and math from Hastings College, and he went on to earn an M.S. in physics and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Iowa State University.
