He has spent half his professional career in public companies and half in private, and brings 30+ years of leadership experience to NN, the majority of which was spent as a CEO, President and Director of various global manufacturing companies. Mr. Bevis began his career at General Dynamics, where he worked on several strategic defense systems, including Star Wars, as well as the Space Shuttle program. He held senior positions at Booz Allen, GE, Emerson Electric, and other manufacturing technology companies, and helped shepherd two start-up ventures into existence. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and served as a long-term volunteer for the Special Olympics Association. Mr. Bevis earned an Industrial Engineering degree from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Columbia Business School.
