Mark Gossett Biography and Net Worth

Mark C. Gossett is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Northern Trust, a leading provider of wealth management, asset servicing, asset management and banking to corporations, institutions, affluent families and individuals. He is a member of the corporation’s Management Group.

Previously, Mark served as the company’s Chief Credit Officer responsible for managing credit, interest rate, liquidity, and market risk globally for the company.

Prior to that position, he was global co-head of Foreign Exchange, based in London, where he was responsible for strategy development, sales and business management for Northern Trust’s FX business. Earlier in his career, Mark worked in Northern Trust’s asset management business, serving as Chief Risk Officer for the business and, before that, as its Chief Operating Officer.

Mark’s career includes previously serving as Northern Trust’s Chief Financial Officer for the EMEA region. He also held several client-facing roles in the company related to commercial banking, foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives.

Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Mark is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mark serves as a Trustee for The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois.
