Joe earned his degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he also lettered in football for the Fighting Irish. Following decorated service as a Marine Corps infantry officer, he began giving financial advice at Merrill Lynch.

In 2003, he left Merrill Lynch to pursue an opportunity in his family’s long-standing business. He remains a Vice President at Eastern Warehouses. After some coaxing from his network of professionals, friends, and family, he founded Carroll Financial Group in 2005.
