Mr. Barrie has been Principal of Barrie International, LLC since 2009, providing strategic and operational consulting, principally in the area of merger and acquisitions, to senior management of companies in the U.S. and abroad including NYSE listed companies and international advisory firms. He has also been a Senior Executive Advisory Board member of Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Company, a middle market investment banking firm since 2009. He is a sitting director and Chairman of the Board of Advanced Battery Concepts, LLC, a private for-profit company developing leading edge lead acid battery technologies. He has also served as a director for several non-profit institutions, including the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. He has served as an instructor for the Cornell Law School transactional law competition and has presented programs on best merger and acquisition practices to corporate executives, as well as reviewed, from time to time, certain specific acquisition candidates for business clients. Mr. Barrie is a member of and a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors ('NACD'). He earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Political Science and Economics from Kenyon College and his Juris Doctor, Law, from Cornell University Law.
